Bereaved families ask courts to thwart terrorists' release

Bereaved families who lost relatives in terror attacks have submitted petitions against the Shalit deal, demanding the courts to thwart the release of the terrorist involved in the deaths of their loved ones.

 

Members of the Schijveschuurder family, who lost five relatives in a bombing on a Jerusalem restaurant in 2001, are asking the High Court of Justice to block the release of the woman who drove the terrorist to the scene of the attack. Ron Kerman and Yossi Tzur, both of whom lost children in a bus bombing in 2003 have filed a civil suit at the Haifa District Court against the terrorists behind the attack. (Aviad Glickman)
