Police chief orders officers to protect Shalit family's privacy

Police Commissioner Yohanan Danino has instructed the northern district's officers to use any means necessary to protect the privacy of the Shalit family and to preserve public order in their hometown, Mitzpe Hila.

"This is a complicated and sensitive operation," Danino said of the circumstances surrounding the prisoner swap deal that aims to bring home captive soldier IDF Gilad Shalit. "It must be carried out in the best way possible, with maximal assistance to the authorities and security forces." (Omri Efraim)
