Jerusalem Light Rail strike to continue Monday

The strike declared Sunday by operators of the Jerusalem Light Rail will continue on Monday. On Sunday evening, the rail's operating company Connex filed a request with the Jerusalem District Labor Court to issue injunctions against the workers that would force them to return to work.
The rail operators are protesting their terms of employment and what they claim is the management's disregard of their plight. In response to the strike, the city boosted the municipal bus system and began to operate special transport services from central locations. (Omri Efraim)
