Quartet to meet Israelis, Palestinians separately

The Mideast Quartet envoys will meet separately with Israeli and Palestinian officials in Jerusalem on Oct. 26 to try to lay the ground for fresh Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, US State Department spokesman Mark Toner said on Monday.

The Quartet is comprised of the European Union, Russia, the United Nations and the United States. (Reuters)
