Tzohar rabbis support Shalit deal

Rabbis from the Tzohar organization stated that they support the prisoner swap deal, and said that the heavy price Israel will pay for the release of Gilad Shalit involves many complex issues, which cannot all be explained with the halachtic rules of redemption of prisoners.
The Tzohar rabbis also urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to compensate the residents of the West Bank by authorizing the construction of hundreds of housing units beyond the Green Line. (Ynet)
