The Israel-Hamas prisoner exchange deal, which will see captive soldier Gilad Shalit returned to Israel in exchange for 1,027 Palestinian prisoners is officially underway.
The first 477 prisoners to be released are currently being shuttled to their rendezvous point with the Red Cross. (Ynetnews)
