Noam Shalit: Gilad had tough experiences in captivity

Noam Shalit told reporters to take Hamas' accounts of his son's captivity with a grain of salt, saying that Gilad "had tough experiences in captivity, and in due time we will expand on that."

He added that his son, who was abducted and consequently imprisoned by Hamas for over five years, was aware of the IDF's Operation Cast Lead. "I suppose it's not easy to be in a building while warplanes are flying above you and are bombing everything that moves," he said.  (Hassan Shaalan)
