Clinton: Opportunity for new start in Libya
None
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is offering cautious optimism about the future of Libya now that interim leaders say former dictator Muammar Gaddafi is dead.
Clinton did not confirm reports of Gaddafi's death when asked about them during a trip to Pakistan on Thursday. Meeting with a large delegation of US and Pakistani national security leaders, Clinton would only say that if true the reports offer a "new opportunity for Libya to move forward to the future." (AP)
