Police seek to extend remand of 16 protesters who called to kidnap soldiers

The police requested the court to extend the remand of 16 protesters, arrested after calling to kidnap more soldiers in order to secure the release of terrorists during a demonstration in front of Hasharon prison on Thursday.
The protesters are suspected of holding an illegal gathering and threatening and assaulting a police officer. One protester is also suspected of incitement. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
