A Yemeni medical official says five troops from a renegade army unit have been killed in clashes with government forces in the capital.
The official says the gunbattle with embattled President Ali Abdullah Saleh's forces took place in Sanaa's northern Hassaba neighborhood. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to brief the press. (AP)
