IDF officer suspected of heading drug ring

Cleared for publication – An IDF officer with the rank of a major from Southern Command is suspected of heading a drug ring in southern Israel.
The officer, who commanded cadets in Bahad 1 training base, was responsible for storing narcotics seized by security forces on the Egypt-Israel border. The police suspect that he sold heroin and cannabis to drug dealers in central Israel. (Eli Senyor)
