MK Mofaz: Shalit deal was right decision

MK Shaul Mofaz (Kadima) spoke in favor of the prisoner swap deal that brought IDF soldier Gilad Shalit home.

"It was a difficult, painful and risky deal, but it was the right decision as there was no other way to free Gilad Shalit," Mofaz said during a special Knesset session.  The remark was made a day after Kadima Chairwoman Tzipi Livni voiced harsh criticism of the deal.(Moran Azulay)
