Iran sends aid Turkey's quake-stricken region

The Iranian Red Crescent has sent a rescue team with medical supplies and food to Turkey's southeast, which was hit by a powerful quake on Sunday, the IRNA news agency reported.
According to the report, 20 rescue workers, 20 ambulances, a field hospital, 50 tents and food were sent on Monday morning to the Van Province, near the Iranian border, where the earthquake was the most devastating. (AFP)
