Gov't expected to approve 1,400 housing units in e. Jerusalem

The Jerusalem District Planning and Building Committee is expected to approve in December the construction of 1,400 housing units in east Jerusalem's Givat Hamatos, Ynet has learned.

The new housing project would be the first new Jewish neighborhood to be built beyond the Green Line since 1997. (Ronen Medzini)
