PA's UN official urges UN support for statehood bid

Riyad Mansour, the Palestinian observer to the UN urged the international body to support the Palestinian bid for statehood ahead of the UN Security Council's vote in November.
"In the past two years we have set the foundations for a state. This project is a success despite the Israeli occupier's attempts to disrupt it. We can govern outrselves. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
