US concerned over presence of Syrian forces in Lebanon

A US State Department spokesman said that Syrian forces have entered into Lebanon over the past few weeks and condemned the violation of the country's sovereignty.
The spokesman added that the US was extremely concerned over signs that Syrian dissidents were arrested in Lebanon on killed near the border. (AFP)
