Turkey requests quake assistance from Israel
Turkey has on Tuesday asked Israel for aid following Sunday's earthquake. The Turkish foreign ministry submitted an official request before the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem in which it requested mobile structures for search and rescue officials.
In light of the request, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman directed the ministry's Director General Refael Barak to cooperate with the relevant factors in order to transfer the necessary equipment as soon as possible. (Ronen Medzini)
