High Court to residents: Make negotiation decision by Wednesday

High court Judge Hanan Meltzer gave the representatives of the medical residents an additional extension – till noon on Wednesday to decide whether they agree to hold talks without any preconditions.
If the residents agree to go back to the negotiating table then the State will have to offer a similar response by 9 am on Thursday morning. If both sides refuse, the High Court hearing into the residents' appeal against the Labor Court's decision to prevent their resignation will recommence. (Neri Brenner)
