Syrians stage yet another pro-regime rally

State-run Syrian TV is broadcasting footage of another massive pro-regime gathering in support of President Bashar Assad as authorities try to galvanize supporters in the face of a seven-month uprising.

Thousands took to the streets on Thursday in the coastal city of Latakia, carrying Syrian flags and chanting in support of reform measures that Assad recently proclaimed. (AP)
