Grapel deal: Released prisoners return to Egypt

The Egyptian prisoners who are being released as part of the Grapel deal have crossed the border into Egypt through Taba. A total of 25 convicted criminals have been released, three of whom are minors. The Israel Prison Service held the inmates at an Eilat prison before they were taken to the border crossing.

Earlier, it was reported Ilan Grapel, the Israeli-American national who were arrested in Egypt, is now in Israeli custody. (Raanan Ben-Zur and Ahuva Mamos)
