Israel's Ambassador to UN speaks out against rocket attacks
IsIsrael's Ambassador to the UN Ron Prosor sent a missive on Sunday to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon over the recent security escalation in southern Israel and demanded that the UN "take action if it hopes to prevent an additional escalation and unequivocally condemn these acts of terror."
He added that the UN needs to make its voice heard clearly and take action together against the rising violence from Gaza. Each rocket, he added, each mortar and missile fired at Israel is a flagrant breach of international law, Prosor wrote. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
