A European Union observer mission says 104 appeals have been filed with a Tunisian court contesting the results of the North African nation's recent elections.
The mission's legal analyst, Tommaso Capriogli, said Sunday most of the appeals were related to the fourth-place finisher Areedha Chaabiya, or Popular Petition party, and Ennahda, an Islamist party which was the big winner of the Oct. 23 balloting. (AP)
