Ban Ki-moon calls Israel to display 'maximum restraint'
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon called on Israel Sunday to display "maximum restraint" and condemned the rocket attacks from Gaza.
"The Secretary General has followed the recent escalation of violence and bloodshed in southern Israel and Gaza with deep concern," said his spokesman Martin Nesirky in a statement. (AFP)
