Nahum Manbar approved for early release from prison
The Sharon prison parole board has approved the early release of Nahum Manbar who was sentenced to 16 years in prison for collaboration with an enemy and providing information to an enemy over weapons sales to Iran. Manbar has served 14.5 years of his sentence.
Security officials determined that Manbar is not a threat to the public and has undergone three years of rehabilitation. Attorney general Yaakov Weinstein told the board that the state was not opposed to his early release. (Aviel Magnezi)
