Shin Bet: Increase in number of terror attacks in October
The Shin Bet monthly summary has found that there has been a considerable rise in the number of terror attacks in Israel during the month of October compared with the previous month: 80 in contrast to 68 in September. The increase was most discernable in the Gaza Strip; 46 terror attacks including attempted attacks on the Security Fence and rocket fire on Israel.
The number of attacks in the West Bank decreased when compared with September, 28 to 39 last month. The same decrease was seen in the number of attacks on Jerusalem, six in October to 17 last month. (Yoav Zitun)
