Man sentenced to 28 months in prison for stealing weapon from soldier

The Jerusalem District Court has sentenced Muhammad Anbawi, a 22-year-old Jerusalem resident, to 28 months in prison for stealing a weapon from an IDF soldier, conspiring to commit a crime, carrying a weapon and obtaining by fraud under aggravating circumstances.

In June 2010, Anbawi stole the weapon off of one his girlfriend's friends. The girlfriend was an IDF soldier at the time. (Aviad Glickman)
