Obama arrives in France to attend economic summit
President Barack Obama arrived in this Mediterranean resort Thursday for a global economic summit that is being overshadowed by Europe's debt crisis and surprise plans by Greece to put a bailout deal to a popular vote.
The situation poses several risks for the Unites States and Obama. If Europe can't contain the crisis in Greece, it could spread across the continent and hit US shores just as the weak US economy has begun to show some positive signs of growth. (AP)
