MK Gafni urges AG to probe Halevy for incitement
Knesset Member Moshe Gafni (United Torah Judaism) urged Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein to order the police to open an investigation against former Mossad chief Efraim Halevy on suspicion of incitement. Halevy said over the weekend that "the haredi threat is greater than the Iranian threat."
In a letter to Weinstein, Gafni claimed that Halevy crossed a red line and that his statements constitute incitement which can hurt a specific sector of Israeli society. (Kobi Nahshoni)
