Minister Meridor asks for Argentina's help with Iran sanctions

Atomic Energy and Intelligence Minister Dan Meridor has met with Argentinean Foreign Minister Hector Timerman in Buenos Aires.
Meridor asked for Argentina's support in placing sanctions on Iran and for assistance in preventing the Islamic Republic from obtaining nuclear weapons. Moreover, Meridor requested Argentina to pressure the Palestinians to renew negotiations with Israel in accordance with the Mideast Quartet's proposal. (Attila Somfalvi)
