Interns late for work in show of support for medical residents

Over 200 interns at hospitals throughout the country will come in late to work in a show of support for the doctors' protest over the salary agreement signed with the Finance Ministry.
The interns have said that under the current conditions they are not willing to begin their residency. Meanwhile, hundreds of medical residents are expected to be absent from the medical wards on the second day of their resignations. (Neri Brenner)
