Egyptian general: No terror groups in Sinai

North Sinai Governor General Abdul Wahab Mabrouk rejected claims by IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz who said that Sinai had turned into a terror hotbed for groups hostile towards Israel.
In an interview with an Egyptian website, the general stressed that there are no terrorist groups in the Sinai Peninsula adding that Egyptian forces are working tirelessly to protect the Gaza border. (Roee Nahmias)
