National Security Council Chairman Yaakov Amidror addressed the public discourse on a possible Israeli strike on Iran, saying that "some people from professional institutions are confused when they think that they have better understanding than the decision makers. If they have a world view, they should run for office, get elected and then they can make the decisions."
Amidror said in a speech that "Many red lines have been crossed in Israel over the issue. The relationship between the professional and elected bodies should be reconsidered." (Yoav Malka)
