Minister Khalon: Poverty can be curbed with government intervention

Welfare and Social Services Minister Moshe Kahlon, who presented the 2010 poverty report Thursday, said in a press conference in Tel Aviv that "poverty is not predestined. No one is born with genes of a poor person."
