The Petah Tikva District Court rejected a petition filed by Yigal Amir, Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin's assassin, to pray with more than just one fellow prisoner.
Judge Avraham Tal ruled that the Israel Prison Service has the right to reject Amir's request. However, he urged the IPS to make an effort to find an arrangement that would allow Amir to pray with other inmates within the security restrictions. (Naama Cohen-Friedman)
