Report: Death toll in Iran blast higher than Revolutionary Guard says

An Iranian website reported that at least 36 people were killed the munitions explosion that occurred near Tehran last week, and 17 as the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Shortly after the blast the Iranian authorities announced that the death toll was up to 27, but then retracted the report, citing an error in the reading of a fax. (Dudi Cohen)
