EU urges Iran to accept nuke talks proposal

EU Foreign Policy chief Catherine Ashton called on Iran to accept a proposal by the union and the six world powers to launch negotiations on the Islamic Republic's nuclear program.
Ashton said the resolution adopted by the board of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on the Iranian nuclear issue "is a reaction to the particularly incriminating findings on Iranian military nuclear activities provided in the latest IAEA report." (AFP)
