NYC: Man arrested in terror plot
None
United States authorities have detained a man suspected of plotting to detonate pipe bombs in and around New York meant to target police and military personnel, CNN quoted NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
The man in question was depicted as an "al-Qaeda sympathizer," though no evidence points to him working with anyone else or receiving training from the terrorist group. "There is no evidence he worked with anyone else," Bloomberg said. "He appears to be ... a lone wolf." (Ynet)
