AG calls for criminal investigation against Rabbi Eliyahu

Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein decided to launch a criminal investigation against Safed Chief Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu over suspicions of advertising incitement to racism for various statements he made in reference to the Arab public.

Meanwhile, a criminal investigation will not be launched over the halachic ruling made by Rabbi Eliyahu together with 50 other rabbis stating that apartments should not be sold or rented out to anyone who wasn't Jewish. (Aviad Glickman)
