Abbas arrives in Cairo ahead of meeting with Mashaal
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas landed in Cairo on Tuesday ahead of his meeting with Hamas Politburo Chief Khaled Mashaal on Thursday. Mashaal is expected to arrive in Egypt on Wednesday.
The two will discuss the understandings between Hamas and Fatah and the implementation of the reconciliation agreement, including presidential and parliamentary elections in the Palestinian Authority. (Elior Levy)
