A medic at a field hospital in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa says at least five people have been killed by security forces and regime supporters who fired upon crowds demanding that President Ali Abdullah Saleh be put on trial.
Doctor Gameela Abdullah said that the victims were killed on Thursday by live ammunition, less than 24 hours after President Saleh's pledge to step down was announced. (AP)
