Death toll in Iraq triple bombings climb to 19

Iraqi officials say the death toll in a triple bombing in a southern city has risen to 19. Health and police officials say many of the wounded from Thursday evening's blasts died after being taken to the hospital.
A string of three bombs went off in an open-air market in Basra, about 340 miles (550 kilometers) southeast of Baghdad. Many of the dead and wounded were security officials who rushed to the scene to help. (AP)
