French TV journalist assaulted by Cairo protesters

A French TV journalist says she was punched and roughed up, then sexually assaulted while covering protests in Egypt's Tahrir Square, the second such attack reported there in a single day.

Caroline Sinz told France 3 television, her employer, on Friday that a day earlier she and her cameraman were set upon by young men in the square then separated. (AP)
