Engelbert Humperdinck. Manager concerned
Engelbert Humperdinck is not at the height of his career right now, but that hasn't stopped pro-Palestinian elements from targeting him with the same pressures experienced by any foreign artist planning to perform in Israel.
Several demonstrations were held during Humperdinck's concert tour in Britain and Ireland. In addition, two pro-Palestinian websites are promoting a petition calling on the singer not to visit Israel.
The British pop singer has been facing an anti-Israel campaign in recent weeks, trying to convince him to cancel his scheduled performance at Tel Aviv's Nokia Arena on December 1.

"A protest was even held near one of his houses in Scotland," says the show's producer in Israel, Gadi Oron. "His manager is getting concerned and has begun emailing us about his fears regarding the Israel concert.
"I told him that all the artists we've brought here in recent years have experienced pressure, and that their usual response was that they engage in music and not in politics.
"I haven't heard any misgivings from the manager since then, and I believe there'll no problem with the show."
