Ministers okay bill that doubles combat soldiers' discharge bonus

The Ministerial Committee on Legislative Affairs has approved a bill proposing to double the discharge bonus granted to those who complete their military service.

The bill, proposed by MK Moshe Matalon (Yisrael Beiteinu), aims to raise the bonus from NIS 9,300 to NIS 20,000 for those who filled combat and combat supportive roles. The measure was approved unanimously. (Aviad Glickman)
