Knesset approves 'Gronis bill' for second, third reading
Knesset's Constitution, Law and Justice Committee approved for second and third reading a bill, dubbed the Gronis bill, calling for the reduction of the Supreme Court presidential term from three years to two.
If approved, Justice Asher Gronis could be appointed Supreme Court president after Dorit Beinisch retires in February. (Moran Azulay)
