High Court: Why no decision on Shilo criminal investigation?
High Court Justice Miriam Naor criticized the State over its lack of decision on whether to open a criminal investigation over the illegal construction on the Shilo settlement.
During the High Court hearing into a petition filed by Peace Now on the issue, the State's representative said that a decision has yet to be made on the matter by the State Prosecutor's Office. "What do you expect us to do with an answer like that? You aren't offering a response that gives us the option of judicial review," Justice Naor replied. The State representative said in response that a decision would be made within six weeks. (Aviad Glickman)
