PA slams World Health Organization for J'lem conference
The Palestinian Health Ministry on Monday denounced the World Health Organization – the UN's public health arm – for holding a conference in Jerusalem. The Palestinian Authority claims that the city's eastern region is under Israeli occupation.
Several hundred doctors and healthcare professionals staged a sit-in outside the UN headquarters in Ramallah in protest against the conference. (AFP)
