Bill proposing to expose talkback writers passes first reading
The Knesset plenum on Monday passed in its first reading a bill stipulating that the court can instruct an internet provider to reveal the identity of a talkback author whose message contains slander.
The bill, initiated by MK Zevulun Orlev (Habayit Hayehudi), aims to help those who have been victimized by anonymous talkbacks to file lawsuits against its authors. (Moran Azulay)
