France, Italy condemn storming of British embassy
French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe strongly condemned the storming of the British embassy compound in Tehran by Iranian students on Tuesday. "The Iranian authorities have a responsibility to protect foreign diplomats in the country," he said. The Italian foreign ministry also issued a condemnation. (AFP)
