PM to Livni: If Palestinians wish to hold talks let them talk to gov't

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke over the phone with Opposition Chairwoman Tzipi Livni that if the Palestinians wish to hold negotiations, the only way to do that would be to talk with the elected government in Israel.

Netanyahu said this in response to Livni meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Jordan on Wednesday, asking him to renew the peace talks. (Attila Somfalvi)
